Genshin Impact’s 2.8 update sends the popular RPG into summer and, among other things, brings back the very popular Golden Apple Archipelago from version 1.6 as a playable region. Version 2.8 also adds new character banners into the game when it releases on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Server downtime starts at 6 a.m. PST and is expected to last for five hours.
