2024 5-star tight end Landen Thomas announced his commitment to Georgia on Thursday via his Twitter account.
Thomas ranks as the nation’s No. 1 ranked tight end in the class of 2024 and as the No. 24 overall player in the nation, per 247Sports.
Out of Colquitt County High School in Moultrie, Georgia, Thomas is a 6-foot-4, 230 pound playmaker who recorded 31 receptions for 516 yards and seven touchdowns last season.
Here are some highlights from Thomas’ sophomore season at Colquitt County:
Georgia now has the nation’s fifth ranked recruiting class for the 2024 cycle, which features just one other player — 4-star wide receiver Ny Carr, who is actually a Colquitt County teammate of Thomas’ who committed earlier this week.
Thomas chose the Bulldogs over Michigan, Florida and 30 others.
