Cincinnati centerfielder Nick Senzel has reached base in 10 consecutive games.
The former Vol has recorded a hit in nine of the last 10 contests.
Senzel went 1-for-3 and scored one run in Cincinnati’s 4-3 win against Atlanta Sunday at Great American Ball Park.
Senzel was selected by Cincinnati with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 MLB draft.
He played for the Vols from 2014-16 and was an All-America standout. During his final season at Tennessee, Senzel led the Southeastern Conference with 25 doubles.
Senzel has recorded a .243 batting average for the Reds in 2022. He has recorded one home run, five doubles, five stolen bases and 13 RBIs in 52 games.
