Tennessee outfielder Kyle Booker recorded two hits for the Kingsport Axmen in its 11-9 loss to Elizabethton in an Appalachian League game Saturday.
Booker went 2-for-5 and scored two runs for Kingsport (20-8).
In nine games for the Axmen this summer, Booker is batting .357 and has recorded 10 hits, two doubles, seven RBIs and 10 runs.
On Friday, Booker appeared as a pinch-hitter for Kingsport in its 10-1 victory against Johnson City at TVA Credit Union Ballpark. He walked and scored one run.
During his sophomore season for the Volunteers, Booker appeared in 25 games and made six starts.
Booker, a Southaven, Mississippi native, batted .222 and totaled one home run, 10 RBIs and 12 runs.
