Texas continues to stay red hot on the recruiting trail.
2023 edge Billy Walton is flipping his commitment from Oklahoma State to Texas. Walton becomes the second player in Texas’ class to flip from another Big 12 school as offensive lineman Trevor Goolsby backed off his TCU pledge in favor of the Longhorns on Sunday.
Walton is listed as the No. 50 prospect at his position and nearly a top-100 player in the state of Texas according to 247Sports composite rankings. He holds an impressive offer list including the likes of Texas, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Louisville and Tennessee.
