It is commitment season on the recruiting trail, as 2023 recruits come off of their summer visits and camps, and begin to make decisions about their future. We’ve seen some big time recruits make commitments over the last few days, including Aggie targets Jayden Rashada (Miami) and Tony Mitchell (Alabama) commit elsewhere.
But the Aggies got great news Monday afternoon as Daymion Sanford, the fast rising 3-star linebacker from Paetow high school in Katy, TX announced his commitment to join the Aggies in 2023.
Over the last few weeks Sanford had picked up offers from Texas, Alabama, and LSU, but his official visit to College Station over the weekend was enough to seal the deal for the Aggies.
