The first two day of the U.S. Open at The Country Club in Brookline, Ma. have been pretty darn great, with a number of big names finding themselves at or near the top of the leaderboard heading into Saturday’s third round.
Collin Morikawa, who has two major victories already in his career, shares the lead with Joel Dahmen at -5 but they have guys like Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, and Scottie Scheffler close behind them.
There are some big names, however, who missed the cut and won’t be playing this weekend. Let’s take a look at those guys, which includes Phil Mickelson, who was a shell of himself this week.
