Trent Brown prefers Patriots over other teams for one specific reason

Trent Brown enjoys playing in New England, and prefers it that way.

New England Patriots offensive tackle Trent Brown has played for the team in two separate stints. He enjoyed his time in both cases, and prefers playing for the Patriots over other NFL teams.

Brown began his first stint with the New England Patriots in style. He came to the organization in 2018, and was one of their top offensive lineman.  His efforts contributed to a Super Bowl championship that year, and as a result, his stock increased.

He signed a deal with the San Francisco 49ers that offseason, but didn’t have the same success he had in New England. Brown re-signed with the Patriots last offseason, and made it clear that he was happy to be back in the organization.

Brown was a guest on a recent episode of the Pat McAfee Show 2.0.  He made it clear that his love for New England has not wavered. The way the organization runs is something he respects, as transcribed by Dakota Randall of NESN.com.

“I think accountability is at a higher standard,” Brown said. “… As you guys know, doing business in any business, especially this one, you can be bulls—-ed. People can yank your tail. They can pull you, yank you around and not necessarily tell you the truth. But here, I just respect it just because I know what I’m gonna get day in and day out, and I know I’m gonna get the truth day in and day out — from top to bottom.

“And I think that’s what matters most, where we do business and conduct business as men, and we’re led as men as well. So, I think that’s what I can respect most about this place.”

As the New England Patriots look to keep up with the Buffalo Bills in the AFC East, Brown will be an essential piece of the line. How he performs could very well dictate the state of the offensive line this upcoming season.
