U.S. Open week is off and running.
The third men’s major of the season and 122nd playing of the USGA’s flagship championship takes place at The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts, for the third time and first since 1988 this week. The Championship Course will play 7,254 yards to a par of 70.
Last week’s RBC Canadian Open champion Rory McIlroy, Callum Tarren, David Lingmerth and Joel Dahmen each hold a share of the early lead at 3 under during the first round of play.
