Teixeira, No. 1 in the latest USA TODAY Sports/MMA Junkie light heavyweight rankings, became the oldest first-time champion in UFC history this past October when he dethroned Jan Blachowicz at UFC 267. The 42-year-old will look to add to his improbable run by adding a defense to his legacy.
Standing in his way, however, is the red-hot Prochazka. The No. 5-ranked contender has lost just once in his past 23 fights dating back to June 2013, and he’ll attempt to be the first UFC titleholder from the Czech Republic.
