It was just a matter of time before the Raiders signed Hunter Renfrow to an extension and that time has come. The Pro Bowl receiver for the Raiders was entering the final year of his rookie contract after posting his first 1,000-yard season in 2021.
According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, the Raiders have signed Renfrow to a two-year extension worth up to $32 million. That deal includes $21 million in guaranteed money and it will keep him under contract through the 2024 season.
The #Raiders are signing Pro Bowl WR Hunter Renfrow to a two-year, $32 million extension including $21M guaranteed, sources tell me and @RapSheet.
A big-time payday for the Slot Machine after a breakout season — and even more opportunities ahead in Josh McDaniels’ offense. 💰💰

This is a fantastic deal for the Raiders as someone like Christian Kirk received significantly more money this offseason in free agency. The Raiders now have Davante Adams, Darren Waller and Renfrow under contract for the foreseeable future, as well as Derek Carr.
Renfrow is just one of several players to receive a big contract extension from the Raiders this offseason as they have paid Maxx Crosby, Adams, and Chandler Jones to big deals. But don’t be surprised if Waller’s contract is the next one Dave Ziegler and company address as he is widely underpaid.
