We still have nearly three months until the 2022 season opener in Ann Arbor, and another three-plus months before it culminates, but that hasn’t stopped some outlets from predicting who will be the standouts in the Big Ten once everything is said and done.
Athlon Sports put out its 2022 preseason projections of the All-Big Ten team, from first team all the way to fourth (which, for the Big Ten, would demarcate the honorable mention category, as the conference only awards first through third teams) and Michigan football had more selections than any other school, with 17. Ohio State was close behind with 16.
While we don’t agree with some of the placements of said players (Ronnie Bell being a third-teamer, for instance, seems a bit low), here is where each Wolverine placed.
