Ah, Streets of Rage 4. Arguably the best retro-throwback game in recent memory, and you can take it anywhere now.
At long last, Streets of Rage 4 is available on android and iOS devices. It’s already up on the Play Store and App Store for $7.99, with the Mr. X Nightmare DLC at $2.99. It’s a little strange that Sega is charging extra for an expansion still since Streets of Rage 4 came out on other platforms back in 2020. In fairness, this game is damn near perfect and well worth the investment.
Sega kicked off Streets of Rage 4‘s mobile launch with an incredible hype trailer that you should check out below. I’m considering picking this modern-day classic for the third time because saving money is for suckers.

Anyone who grew up with the Sega Genesis is undoubtedly familiar with Streets of Rage. While some might argue that the SNES series Final Fight was the better side-scrolling brawler, real ones know Streets of Rage is top-tier. Yes, I’m stoking a nearly three-decade-old console war fire that I wasn’t even around for.
So yeah, definitely check out Streets of Rage 4 if you haven’t already. There’s only so much time to catch up on all that deep lore before the movie comes out.
