Former University of Tennessee basketball player Grant Williams and Boston tied the best-of-seven NBA Eastern Conference finals Monday.
Williams scored seven points off the bench in a, 102-82, victory over top-seeded Miami at TD Garden.
In game No. 4, Boston, the No. 2 seed, opened a 29-11 lead at the end of the second quarter.
Williams recorded five rebounds and two assists.
He was 1-for-8 from the field, 1-for-5 from beyond the 3-point arc and 4-for-4 from the free throw line.
The series resumes Wednesday with game No. 5 at FTX Arena in Miami.
Tipoff is slated for 8:30 p.m. EDT and the contest will be televised by ESPN.
