I didn’t really see this one coming, but the Colorado Buffaloes no longer have a commitment from Ramon Jefferson.
The former FCS All-American while at Sam Houston State announced his decommitment on Friday via Twitter. Per Brian Howell of BuffZone, the rumor is Jefferson has plans to transfer to an SEC school.
Jefferson likely would’ve gotten plenty of snaps and perhaps even started at CU next season, though the Buffs still have some quality talent in the tailbacks room. Alex Fontenot now appears to be the clear starter for the Buffs, and incoming freshman RB Victor Venn is on my list for potential breakout players. Deion Smith, Jayle Stacks and perhaps even freshman Anthony Hankerson are also in line to back up Fontenot.
After further consideration i have decided to decommit from University of Colorado.
