You can never have too much speed on your roster in the SEC. While LSU does have some guys who can do damage in that regard, it could definitely use some more in the mix.
To fit that bill, the Tigers are targeting four-star athlete [autotag]Micah Tease[/autotag], who listed them among his top 10 on Thursday. The Booker T. Washington (Tulsa, Oklahoma) product is ranked as the No. 183 prospect nation and No. 12 athlete.
Tease’s top 10 is a who’s who of blue-bloods, as it also includes Arkansas, Michigan, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Alabama, Michigan State, Texas A&M, Penn State and USC.

At 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds, Tease is a two-way player who sees action at cornerback and receiver. He could likely see action in either role at the next level, given his tremendous speed. He also runs track and has registered a blazing 11-second 100-meter.
He had positive things to say about the Tigers’ staff, according to On3’s Sam Spiegelman.
âIâve always been tight with Coach (Brian) Kelly and when they came down from Notre Dame and brought it Coach (Robert) Steeples, that really brought them into this,” he said. “I enjoy the staff at LSU and the history with defensive backs and all that comes with it.â
LSU offered him on March 28 and will hope to get him on campus for a visit. He currently has visits planned for Notre Dame (June 10) and USC (June 16). The Sooners currently have the most crystal ball projections for Tease, and the Razorbacks lead the way according to the On3 RPM.
Tease is a phenomenal athlete who is sure to be a weapon at the next level, and the Tigers will look to add him to their 2023 class.
