U.S. Soccer announced an historic pair of collective bargaining agreements on Wednesday, with both its men’s and women’s national team agreeing to deals through 2028.
The deals end a contentious period between the federation and the USWNT especially, with the women’s national team having sued U.S. Soccer over alleged gender discrimination in 2019.
For the USMNT, the deal represents the team’s first new CBA since its previous deal expired in 2018.
