Philadelphia 76ers fans are so petty, y’all. So so so petty. It’s pretty remarkable, honestly.
These are the same fans that tracked down Ben Simmons outside of the Nets’ team hotel after the team traded him away just to boo him. Do y’all know how hard that is? Not only did they find the team hotel, but they also waited outside for Simmons to come out. Just to boo him.
And they didn’t stop booing him, either. From the moment he stepped out of the hotel to the moment he sat on the bench. All boo birds.
Like I said — petty. That’s why it’s no surprise at all that this 76ers fan dedicated his walk across the stage at his graduation from Penn to trying to get Doc Rivers fired.
That’s right. A Penn student held up a card during his graduation walk saying “Fire Doc Rivers.”

Dog. This might be one of the most precious moments of this guy’s life to this point. And here he is — dedicating that to trying to get his team’s head coach fired after a disappointing playoff run.
PETTY.
Everyone thought this was so wild. But…also…it’s so Philly. You’ve got to respect it.
