The Dallas Cowboys have begun their on-field preparation for the 2022 season. In Frisco, TX, they gathered up all of their draft picks, their UDFA class and brought in some young veterans without much experience to start going through the drills and process. Head coach Mike McCarthy and his staff worked with players across a couple of days under the hot, Texas sun.
McCarthy said he believes the rookies will be further along then in year’s past because they’ve done a better job integrating virtual learning into their process following the remote work that had to be established due to the pandemic. The rookies will next be integrated with the veterans at the first OTA session, starting Tuesday, May 24.
For now, take a look at photo captures from the Associated Press and USA Today Images from this past weekend’s rookie camp.
