Two former University of Tennessee basketball players saw their season come to an end Thursday in the second round of the NBA playoffs.
In Philadelphia, the 76ers lost to top-seeded Miami, 99-90, at Wells Fargo Center.
With the victory, Miami claimed the series over Philadelphia, the Eastern Conference’s No. 4 seed, 4-2.
Tobias Harris started for the 76ers and played 38 minutes. He had 14 points, eight rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal.
Harris was 6-for-13 from the floor and 2-for-5 from beyond the 3-point arc.
Rookie Jaden Springer, a two-way player for Philadelphia, made his postseason debut Wednesday and played one minute. He did not record any stats.
