Former UNC basketball standout Danny Green had to leave Game 6 with a knee injury he suffered.

The Philadelphia 76ers saw their season come to an end on Thursday night, dropping Game 6 to the Miami Heat and losing the series 4-2. Philadelphia was without Joel Embiid for the first two games of the series, losing both of those and on Thursday, they were hit by the injury bug again.

Former UNC standout [autotag]Danny Green[/autotag] had to leave the game with a knee injury in the first quarter and did not return. He suffered the injury in a collision with Embiid. The 76ers immediately ruled Green out for the rest of the game and were planning on doing an MRI to determine the severity of the injury:

The 34-year-old averaged 5.9 points per game while shooting 38 percent from the three-point line this season. Green scored 21 points in the 76ers Game 3 win and followed it up with just 11 in Game 4.
