New Bears general manager Ryan Poles has been busy reconstructing the roster this offseason, which includes a lot of one-year, prove-it deals that don’t tie down the franchise beyond this year.
There are a lot of changes, including the departures of several veterans through free agency, release or trade. That includes star pass rusher Khalil Mack, who was traded to the Los Angeles Chargers, which clears the way for a new top cap hit for the Bears.
The Bears also added 11 rookies in the NFL draft, and there are just four who remain unsigned — including top selections Kyler Gordon, Jaquan Brisker and Velus Jones Jr.
Currently, the Bears have $16.06 million in salary cap space, per Over The Cap. Here’s a look at each player’s cap hit for the 2022 season.
