ESPN puts Colorado in its top-25 2023 college football recruiting class rankings

ESPN had Colorado in the top-25 for its 2023 college football recruiting class rankings

The Buffaloes have already received commitments from 10 players for their 2023 recruiting class. This has earned the Buffs some well-earned recognition from national recruiting sites and major outlets.

According to 247Sports, CU has the No. 11 recruiting class in the country as of Monday. That’s good enough for second in the Pac-12, right behind USC at No. 10. 247Sports ranks LB CJ Turner, who sports a .8900 ranking, as CU’s best defensive commit at the moment, making him a high three-star prospect this year who could play his way to a four-star rating. Three-star Naquil Betrand, a monster OT out of Philadelphia, is the Buffs’ top offensive commit, per 247Sports.

ESPN has also confirmed Colorado’s fast start, placing the Buffs at No. 21 in the country in its latest 2023 college football recruiting class rankings.

Here is what ESPN writer Craig Haubert had to say about Colorado’s class:

While USC works to reestablish itself as a dominant recruiting force in the Pac-12, Colorado is making some noise of its own on the recruiting trail, working to sign one of the top classes in the conference. They went into California to secure their QB in the four-star Staub, a passer with a quick release and gunslinger’s swagger. Edward Schultz and Isaiah Hardge, a quick playmaker who can be dangerous in space, have the tools be develop into productive weapons. A nice get out of Philadelphia is massive and aggressive OL Naquil Betrand.
