The Chicago Bears kicked off their rookie minicamp this weekend, where 11 draft picks, 16 undrafted free agents and a slew of others invited for a tryout.
The Bears returned to practice at Halas Hall on Saturday, where the rookies practiced outside after weather kept them inside on Friday.
For first-year GM Ryan Poles, his draft class addressed two important needs with the secondary and offensive line. Chicago landed cornerback Kyler Gordon and safety Jaquan Brisker in the second round while adding speedy wide receiver Velus Jones Jr. and four offensive linemen, among others.
