The Pittsburgh Steelers selected South Dakota State University quarterback Chris Oladokun with their second seventh-round pick of the 2022 NFL draft. This is the final pick of the draft for the Steelers unless they make a trade.
Pittsburgh was one of the teams who showed a strong interest in Oladokun but after spending a first-round pick on Kenny Pickett, no one would have guessed they would double up on quarterbacks.
Oladokun is a very raw quarterback who possesses excellent arm talent and solid athleticism. Pittsburgh had wanted to be sure they went into the offseason workouts with four quarterbacks on the roster.
