The Washington Commanders selected two former Alabama stars on the second night of the 2022 NFL draft. Defensive tackle [autotag]Phidarian Mathis[/autotag] and running back [autotag]Brian Robinson[/autotag] Jr. had their names called less than 24 hours ago. Now, they already have their numbers.
Mathis, who wore 48 while with the Crimson Tide, will be sporting 98 on his Commanders jersey as a rookie.
Robinson wore 4 on his Alabama uniform, but will now be wearing 8 in his rookie season.
The announcement was made in a tweet by the Washington Commanders.
