With the 62nd pick in the 2022 NFL draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select Cincinnati S Bryan Cook.
This was the team’s original second-round pick. They traded their first second-round pick, acquired in the Tyreek Hill trade, to the New England Patriots.
At 6-1 and 208 pounds, Cook boasts great size to play box safety. He’s an aggressive, reactive and speedy player, who isn’t afraid to deliver a big hit. He’s instinctive in coverage and takes good pursuit angles to the ball. Look for him to potentially earn some snaps as a sub-package linebacker for Kansas City.
