We aren’t even halfway into day two of the 2022 NFL draft, and the Minnesota Vikings have already pulled the trigger on two more trades.
After trading away the No. 34 overall pick to the Green Bay Packers, the Vikings moved back up the board to take Clemson cornerback Andrew Booth Jr. with the No. 42 pick.
The Vikings sent the No. 53, 57 and 192 picks to the Indianapolis Colts to move up the board and get their guy.
So in the first two picks of the Kwesi Adofo-Mensah era, the team has added Georgia safety Lewis Cine and now, Booth Jr., to a secondary that desperately needed help.
