The Houston Texans had a solid first night to the 2022 NFL draft.
Houston picked up possibly the next shutdown cornerback in the NFL in former LSU cornerback Derek Stingley. The Texans also found a ground-and-pound guard in Texas A&M’s Kenyon Green.
Not a bad way to start the draft.
However, Day 2 is where general manager Nick Caserio really makes his hay, and there are solid starters left on the board for him to pick through as he continues in coordinated effort with coach Lovie Smith to rebuild the Texans.
