Kevin Holland announces fight vs. Tim Means: ‘I will be choking my chicken June 18 in Austin, Texas’

Kevin Holland is a man of many talents, but perhaps none greater than unorthodox fight announcement videos.

[autotag]Kevin Holland[/autotag] apparently has a hankering for strangling fowl – and at UFC Austin he’ll have the opportunity to choke “The Dirty Bird.”

In an unorthodox fight booking announcement video Friday published on his OnlyFans page, Holland (22-8 MMA, 9-5 UFC) revealed a matchup vs. [autotag]Tim Means[/autotag] (32-12-1 MMA, 14-9 UFC), set for June 18 in his Austin, Texas. A knock-off “Big Bird” mascot joined Holland in the video in which he beats up the oversized animal and strangles it unconscious.

MMA Junkie confirmed with additional people with knowledge of the matchup that contracts for the bout have already been signed.

Holland, 29, will look to continue momentum from his UFC welterweight debut in March when he finished Alex Oliveira. The victory returned him to the win column after two losses and a no contest at middleweight.

Means, 38, is on a three-fight winning streak of his own with victories against Laureano Staropoli, Mike Perry and Nicolas Dalby.

With the addition, the June 18 lineup includes:

  • Julian Marquez vs. Gregory Rodrigues
  • Phil Hawes vs. Deron Winn
  • Kyle Daukaus vs. Roman Dolidze
  • Maria Oliveira vs. Gloria de Paula
  • Jasmine Jasudavicius vs. Natalia Silva
  • Damir Ismagulov vs. Guram Kutateladze
  • Cody Stamann vs. Eddie Wineland
  • Court McGee vs. Jeremiah Wells
  • Kevin Holland vs. Tim Means
