Things are not sounding great for Chicago Bulls point guard Lonzo Ball, who related that his knee injury has not been responding as might be hoped in a press conference with the media on Thursday. Relating (via NBC Chicago’s KC Johnson) that his rehabilitation is at “kind of a standstill right now,” Ball shared that he will visit another specialist given he’s still feeling pain in his knee, and isn’t sure whether he’ll need another procedure to correct whatever issues he is currently dealing with.
“It’s very frustrating,” he said, making his frustration with how not only his own injury hurt the Bulls’ playoff aspirations, but several.
“This year, we had a lot of promise, I felt like,” Ball added. “And we had a lot of goals that I don’t think were met, mainly due to a lot of health issues.”
