Boston star Jaylen Brown credits coach Ime Udoka for setting the tone of Celtics’ postseason success vs. Nets

The Celtics star believes his coach’s approach on the sidelines is a major reason why Boston has excelled in the playoffs so far.

After the Boston Celtics swept the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night with their 116 – 112 road win over their Atlantic Division rivals, plenty of praise was rightly focused on what the team had accomplished together and as individual players since starting the season 17 – 19 to many a Celtics fans’ consternation.

But after the unlikely sweep was on the books, star forward Jaylen Brown wanted to be sure that the architect behind Boston’s second-half success and early playoff excellence got his flowers as well when speaking to the media — namely first-year head coach Ime Udoka.

“Ime set the tone from the jump,” related Brown.
