The UNC basketball program continues to receive good news this offseason and that could continue later this week with its top target in a future class.
2023 consensus top-5 prospect [autotag]GG Jackson[/autotag], and top UNC target, has set his decision date. He tells On3.com that he will be announcing his decision on Wednesday.
The three teams involved in Jackson’s recruitment the most have been North Carolina, Duke and South Carolina.

The Tar Heels had been rumored to be the favorite for the majority of Jackson’s recruitment, but that seems to have amped up even more in the last month.
North Carolina currently holds all 10 active Crystal Ball predictions on 247 Sports and FutureCast predictions by Rivals for Jackson.
Jackson is ranked No. 1 overall in the class of 2023 by Rivals, No. 6 overall by ESPN and No. 8 overall by 247Sports.
The 6-foot- led the Ridge View Blazers to a 20-11 record and state championship while averaging 22.1 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game.
UNC currently has one commitment from the 2023 class in five-star point guard [autotag]Simeon Wilcher[/autotag].
