One of the consistent strengths we’ve seen out of Clemson over the last decade is elite production coming from their cornerbacks.
The Tigers now have another opportunity to lock up some elite talent as four-star cornerback Avieon Terrell announces Clemson among his top five choices. A prospect out of Atlanta, Georgia, Terrell announced yesterday on Twitter that he will be choosing between Clemson, Auburn, Michigan State, Texas A&M and Kentucky.
The younger brother of NFL star and former Clemson cornerback turned first-round pick, A.J. Terrell, Avieon, with his family ties, is projected to select Clemson according to 247sports. The site has him ranked as No.284 player and No.31 cornerback in their 2023 composite rankings.
After seeing what his older brother has developed into between his time and Clemson and how it translated to the NFL, it’s no wonder why the Tigers would lead consideration.
