It has been a devastating offseason for the Seattle Seahawks, who are staring a rebuild in the face. They do not look competitive with the state of their current roster and will be hard-pressed to keep up with their rivals in the NFC West, particularly the reigning Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams.
However, the team has retained a few key pieces in the hopes that they can still be competitive in 2022, one of them being 12-year veteran defensive tackle Al Woods.
Woods signed a $1.23 million deal with Seattle last month and insisted he did not require an overly bloated salary to return. At 35 years old, he seems to be in it for the love of the game more than anything, judging by his recent comments.

The 2022 NFL draft is in less than two weeks and Seattle will hopefully hit on at least a few picks to kickstart their rebuild.
