Jaguars announce plans for 2022 Draft Party

The Jags Draft Party is returning to Daily’s Place this year.

The 2022 NFL Draft is almost here and fans will be able to enjoy the experience with the organization as they have in the past. The team announced the plans for its 2022 Draft Party on Thursday, and it will be returning to Daily’s Place for the first time since 2019.

The event, which is free to attend, will allow fans to celebrate the Jags’ first-round selection as they hold the No. 1 overall pick. There will be on-stage appearances from coach Doug Pederson and cornerback Shaquill Griffin, too. Fans who attend the event will get the opportunity to win prizes as well, like autographed merchandise, and the 2022 draft hats from New Era will be on sale.

The organization has likely narrowed its choices down to one of four choices. On the defensive side, it appears they may be eyeing Michigan edge-rusher Aidan Hutchinson or Georgia defensive lineman Trevon Walker. If they go with an offensive player, it could be North Carolina State offensive tackle Ikem Ekwonu or Alabama tackle Evan Neal.

The organization will allow fans in as early as 6 p.m. EST at Gates 1 and 4 at Daily’s Place. However, the draft itself won’t start until 8 p.m. EST, and coverage will be shown on the big screens of the amphitheater.

For those who want to attend, registration will be required. Right now, registration is limited to season ticket holders only, but general admission tickets will be available on Friday, April 15 at 10 a.m.
