Make it three.
On Tuesday, we wrote about Jimbo Fisher’s program picking up their first two big post-spring game commitments, and less than 24 hours later, there’s another addition to the crop of players joining the Aggies in 2023, continuing the strong push the staff is making to back up their record-setting 2022 class.
This time its Jayvon Thomas, a 5-11 170 pound, 4-star cornerback, of South Oak Cliff (TX), who is ranked as the 89th best prospect in the nation by 247 sports. Thomas missed the 11 regular season games of his junior season in 2022, but returned for the playoffs and helped South Oak Cliff to an unlikely class 5A state championship.

Thomas is the 2nd 4-star corner to commit to becoming an Aggie in 2023, and the 5th corner with 4-stars or better in the last two classes, putting A&M well on the way to building a dominant secondary for years to come.
