Are the Boston Celtics afraid of the Brooklyn Nets heading into their 2022 NBA Playoff series?

Or could the superteam be shook themselves?

Are the Boston Celtics afraid of the Brooklyn Nets heading into their 2022 NBA Playoff series? Given the trouncing that the Nets have handed out to the Celtics last season when the two teams crossed paths in the first round of the 2021 postseason, it would be understandable if some lingering trauma remained for Boston players able to suit up in that series.

But this time around, it is not the Celtics emerging from a tough season impacted by COVID-19 and injuries but the Nets, with Boston holding the better record and better recent stretch of play over Brooklyn’s head. Of course, the Nets happen to have two of the best offensive players in the world on their roster in Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, but star Celtics forwards Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum have truly come into their own as well.

The hosts of the WEEI radio show “Felger and Mazz” Michael Felger and Tony Massarotti discuss all things Nets – Celtics on a recent episode, including rumors a Boston player would have preferred to avoid the matchup.
