Ashley Lau is having a spring to remember.
The Michigan senior defended her title at the Indiana Invitational at the Pfau Course at Indiana University to claim the fourth win of her collegiate career, which set a program record for wins.
“This course holds a special place in my heart because it was my first collegiate win last year,” said Lau. “I was very excited heading into this tournament. After Augusta (National Women’s Amateur), I worked hard on my putting as I wasn’t putting well. It paid off this week for sure. However, I must say I’m very proud of this team. It definitely wasn’t easy with the cold and wind however we all fought hard and came out with a win. I guess you could say it was a great weekend.”
