As we await the decisions of a few UNC basketball players, the focus for the program is now on the future of the roster. And that includes recruiting classes for 2023 and 2024.
Just days after a run to the title game, [autotag]Hubert Davis[/autotag] and his staff were out evaluating prospects in the first open period of the AAU circuit. Davis was in Orlando for the EYBL circuit and he was courtside to watch 2023 target [autotag]G.G. Jackson[/autotag], 2024 target [autotag]Nassir Cunningham[/autotag] and 2024 commit [autotag]Simeon Wilcher[/autotag] Friday night.
Davis took it all in as he watch both Wilcher and Cunningham who are teammates on the AAU cycle. He then watched Jackson in the game following.
The first night of EYBL and Hubert Davis is on the prowl in Orlando. He has already been courtside to see G.G. Jackson, Simeon Wilcher, and the top player in the 2024 class, Naasir Cunningham. @HeelIllustrated

Wilcher put on a show and looked impressive, finishing with 20 points and 2 assists in the game. Jackson finished with 9 points in the win for Team CP3.
The evaluation period continues this weekend and we will keep an eye on where Davis and the UNC staff is at and who they are watching.
