Floyd Mayweather to return to ring in exhibition on May 14

Floyd Mayweather will return to the ring in an exhibition on May 14 on a helipad atop a hotel in Dubai.

Floyd Mayweather’s latest comeback is set.

The 45-year-old Hall of Famer will face someone named “Dangerous” Don Moore in an eight-round pay-per-view exhibition May 14 on a helicopter landing pad atop the iconic Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai, it was announced Thursday.

Former super middleweight titleholder Badou Jack and Brazilian MMA star Anderson Silva also will fight on the card, .

Mayweather (50-0, 27 KOs) was last in the ring on June 6 of last year in Miami Gardens, where he and YouTube personality Logan Paul engaged in an exhibition.

Moore (18-0-1, 12 KOs) is a journeyman from Gary, Indiana, who last fought in 2016.

Jack’s opponent has not been announced. Silva, 46, will face countryman and fellow MMA fighter Bruno Machado in an eight-round boxing exhibition. Silva boxed twice last year, upsetting Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. by a split decision last June and then stopping fellow MMA star Tito Ortiz in one round in September.

A press conference was scheduled for 3 p.m. ET in Miami to kick off the promotion.
