Why the Colts shouldn’t draft a QB with their first selection.

The Indianapolis Colts still have some depth issues across their roster as they look to retool the team to set up Matt Ryan for success in his first season with the organization.

I addressed the concern over the backup quarterback situation and the long-term solution at the position but Chris Ballard should have an all-in mentality to get to the Super Bowl with this roster.

While there is a case to select a quarterback with the first pick on the board, the logic says to address other needs on the roster that can help the team win now, not later.
