NOBODY PANIC TIGER WOODS IS STILL IN THE MASTERS FIELD!
OK, now that we’ve got that out of the way: Per The Masters’ official Twitter account, thunderstorms early on Thursday pushed back start times 30 minutes in the first round at Augusta National.
That means Woods — grouped with Louis Oosthuizen and Joaquin Niemann — will tee off at 11:04 AM ET, not at his original 10:34 AM start time.
Hopefully the weather will cooperate the rest of the day — Weather.com‘s hour-by-hour forecast around 7:30 AM ET says it’ll be cloudy with only a 15 percent chance of rain during the day.
TL;DR: You just have to wait an extra 30 minutes to see Tiger tee off again.
Due to thunderstorms in the early morning hours Thursday, gate opening times will be delayed by 30 minutes.
Ticketing gates will open at 7:30 a.m. The Honorary Starters will take place at 8:15 a.m., followed by the first tee time at 8:30 a.m. #themasters
