Lonzo Ball’s Instagram caption wishes farewell to 2021-22 season

Ball will miss the rest of the season following surgery to repair meniscus tear.

Lonzo Ball’s season has come to an end.

Reported on Tuesday, Ball was shut down for the remainder of the season as his efforts to return from a small tear in his left meniscus fell short.

Ball underwent surgery in late-January and has failed to be able to ramp up his rehab in order to return as he felt discomfort when attempting to run.

Lonzo posted on his Instagram on Wednesday seemingly saying goodbye to the 2021-22 season and vouched to come back ‘better than ever.’
