List of Browns free agents who remain unsigned

The Browns have quite a few free agents still left unsigned, here is the full list. Some of them could help the team in 2022 if they return:

The Cleveland Browns big splashes so far in free agency have come via trades and not signings. The team traded for QB Deshaun Watson, WR Amari Cooper and DE Chase Winovich while signing Taven Bryan and Jakeem Grant.

Free agency has a history of not leading to wins based on recent data but can be an important way of adding to a team. Generally, good teams retain their own players more than shopping for another team’s scraps.

So far this offseason, TE Austin Hooper (cut) and CB M.J. Stewart (FA) have signed with other teams but a majority of the Browns free agents are still lingering out there. There has been talk of Jarvis Landry and Jadeveon Clowney returning but nothing has happened yet.

The team has a surprising number of players left on the free-agent market as the calendar turns to April and the start of offseason activities just a couple weeks away.
