Tennessee baseball completes SEC series sweep at Ole Miss.

No. 5 Tennessee extended its winning streak to 15 games as it completed a Southeastern Conference road sweep against No. 2 Ole Miss in Oxford Sunday.

Tennessee (23-1, 6-0 SEC) defeated the Rebels (16-7, 2-4 SEC), 4-3.

The game was tied until Tennessee scored three runs in the fourth inning.

Drew Gilbert had a two-run triple in the frame and later scored when Trey Lipscomb grounded out.

The Vols extended its advantage to 4-0 when an RBI double by Luc Lipcius plated Lipscomb.

Ole Miss pulled to within, 4-3, on a three-run home run by Hayden Dunhurst in the eighth inning.

Gilbert and designated hitter Seth Stephenson each had three hits and scored one run in the contest for Tennessee.

Tennessee starter Drew Beam (5-0) surrendered one run and three hits in 7.1 innings pitched. He had six strikeouts.

Camden Sewell finished the eighth inning, giving up two runs and two hits.

Vols’ closer Redmond Walsh completed the game. He surrendered two hits and had five strikeouts.
