Nick Castellanos has done it again, folks.
Sunday’s spring training game between the Philadelphia Phillies and Toronto Blue Jays was Castellanos’s first with his new team in the NL East. Castellanos is just one of a handful of big additions to this Phillies club, but he’s also become quite a meme for consistently hitting home runs during somber on-air moments.
And, what do you know, Castellanos did it again, as he picked up his first hit in a Phillies uniform while the Blue Jays broadcast was discussing pitching coach Pete Walker’s DUI. It was a serious moment, as the broadcast read Walker’s apology after the coach was arrested in Florida on a DUI charge last week, which was immediately broken by Castellanos’s bloop single to right field.

Obviously, DUI’s are quite serious and are no laughing matter, but at this point it’s no coincidence that Castellanos has done this again right? Simply incredible.
