The No. 8 North Carolina Tar Heels are set to face the Cinderella of the 2022 NCAA Tournament in No. 15 Saint Peter’s for a trip to the Final Four in New Orleans. The Peacocks have taken down Kentucky, Murray State and Purdue to get to the Elite 8 and have won over America. But UNC has a chance to get to the Final Four in Hubert Davis’ first year and setup a third game with Duke in the process.
For the Tar Heels, this won’t be an easy task.
The Peacocks are a really good team despite their No. 15 seed and they will play UNC tough. Saint Peters likes to control the pace and slow it down while locking up on defense.
The Tar Heels are going to have to hit their shots and execute or they could find themselves as the latest victim in this Cinderella story. More importantly, they cannot look ahead to next weekend.
