The Chicago Bears are through the first wave of free agency, where they addressed some pressing needs on the roster. Although, it’s clear there’s still plenty of work to be done by general manager Ryan Poles.
Where things currently stand after the first wave of free agency, the Bears have roughly $24.5 million in cap space in 2022, which now ranks sixth in the NFL.
The Bears signed several new players during the first week of free agency, including offensive lineman Lucas Patrick, defensive tackle Justin Jones, defensive end Al-Quadin Muhammad and wide receivers Byron Pringle and Equanimeous St. Brown.
