Flurry of mock drafts identify Andrew Booth as first-rounder

Clemson cornerback Andrew Booth Jr. is projected as a first-round pick in several recent mock drafts.

We’re just over a month out from the 2022 NFL draft, and the predictions are flowing furiously.

Clemson Tigers cornerback Andrew Booth Jr. is firmly in the mix near the top of the draft board at his position. A first-team All-ACC selection as a junior last season, Booth recorded 39 tackles, five pass breakups and a team-best three interceptions in 2021. Over the course of his three-year collegiate career at Clemson, Booth totaled 75 tackles, 10 pass breakups and five interceptions.

Many draft observers have the 6-foot, 194-pound Booth listed as the third-best cornerback in this year’s class behind Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner of Cincinnati and Derek Stingley Jr. of LSU.

The 2022 NFL draft will be held April 28-30 in Las Vegas.

With all that in mind, Clemson Wire checks in on several recent mock drafts that predict Booth will be selected in the first round. See below for the results.
